Genre: Mythology Retelling, Romantic Fiction

In the previous battle to become Ares, the newcomers from Aeaea made a scare amongst the people of Olympus. Yet, in a land where assassinations and arranged marriages keep the peace amongst those daring to rebel the easiest way to assimilate the newcomers into Olympus, and keep a cautious eye on them, is to join their dinner party. There are, of course, challenges, deception, and plentiful levels of alcohol and blood.

Cassandra Gataki is a hater of Olympus, or at least they hate her. As the daughter of a fallen family, and sole family member to her naive and lovable younger sister, Cassandra has no choice but to play the game, work hard, and bide the time until she escapes the clutch of Olympus. As such, she works for the brooding and sexy Apollo (the city's official spymaster) who she might yearn for every day but there are more important thing's to worry about okay! And same goes for Apollo, who's about two minutes from screaming obscenities at the wonderfully curvy woman with a sharp tongue who won't accept his love!

Who doesn't love a forbidden romance? Boss vs employee, runaway vs homebody, a big golden retriever vs the cat woman? Cassandra and Apollo tag all the boxes for a heel-dragging slow burn romance that acts as the minor plotline underneath the devious work assignment they both must work on.

Both characters are thrust into a spy mission, with Cassandra the hot date on Apollo's arm they enter the house of Minos' and his oddly suspicious family to play parlour games, drink the strong stuff, and spy on behalf of Zeus. What is Minos hiding? And why is he set on separating the thirteen from each other? And why is there a dead body! (Maybe not the last part you'll have to read to find out!)

If you can't tell Radiant Sin is a romance heavy, plot driven, rollercoaster of a book that takes the reader into new dimensions. Boasting about the characters sizzling attraction to each other and then dumping cold water as the plot thickens. Katee Roberts knows how to keep her audience hooked - especially a sucker for Greek mythology retellings like me. I am sure that there is any order of plot twists and sickeningly erotic scenarios that she could throw in readers direction that would leave them salivating for more content. (That could just be me).

Anyways, fangirling aside, Radiant Sin is one of the better books in the Dark Olympus series that will only make you want more!
